We are a utility scale energy developer. Our company has a broadly skilled team that has been involved in thousands of megawatts of energy developments, including multiple solar and wind projects. Our team has worked in all facets necessary to bring a project to operation from greenfield project siting, solar resource, meteorology, grid interconnection, environmental, procurement, construction, contract negotiation and financing.  We have taken completely undeveloped sites (greenfield) to full operating projects in under 3 years.  In addition to long standing development capabilities, we have the knowledge, background and a history of raising capital for the development and construction of energy projects and the experience in project financing necessary to bring energy projects to operation. We bring the experience and capital knowledge needed to address the challenges of building projects in today’s market.

As has been the trend for the last 10-15 years, many wind and other renewable energy projects are geared towards large, 200+ megawatt build-outs. These projects require a significant amount of land to be held for many years until transmission infrastructure and demand are available to accommodate their large size.

Our business model is different. We focus on using our conventional and renewable energy experience to build appropriately designed projects, aimed at power purchasers  that have a present need for power and that are located with existing infrastructure that can accept this power. Because of our emphasis on local projects, we can often enter into direct power purchase negotiations with the utility or commercial customer, streamline the interconnection process, and avoid extensive infrastructure build-out, while providing landowners the opportunity to participate throughout the development process in projects built on their land.

In all, our business model is intended to increase the likelihood of development and reduce the time to commercial operation. Our management team’s prior Mountain West projects are a prime example of this focused approach.  Our confidence in this model is based in large part around our balanced agreements for landowners, which provide meaningful potential benefits to the landowner. Our goal is to build not only successful projects, but also successful partnerships with landowners and their communities.
